Membership Announcements
Membership Renewals to Be Online Only
As part of its effort to adopt greener, more efficient processes,
AIHA will soon shift to an online-only membership renewal
process. The change will take effect in October 2009 with the
first 2010 renewal notification e-mail.
Eliminating paper membership renewals is expected to increase efficiencies and save time for AIHA office staff. And
without the expense of sending paper dues invoices through
the mail, the new process will also be more cost effective.
To avoid delays in receiving renewal notifications,
members should make sure that their e-mail address is
updated in AIHA membership records. Members can up-
date their e-mail address online:
1. From the AIHA homepage at www.aiha.org, select
“Member Center” from the left-hand navigation.
2. Enter your user name (your AIHA member number) and
password (your last name).
3. Select the “View Your Member Profile” link. Your e-mail
address will appear under “Contact Information.”
4. Click the “Edit” button in the bottom right corner.
5. In the “Addresses, Phone Numbers and E-mails” section,
click “Main.”
6. In the “Edit Address/Phone” window, enter your e-mail
address in the appropriate field and click “Save.”
Membership dues payments, participating local section
dues payments, special interest groups payments and AIHF
donations may be made quickly and securely through
AIHA’s website. Members may also choose to pay by check
or money order by mailing payments to:

AIHA Website Login to Change
This autumn, AIHA will convert to a new association management system (AMS). One of the changes brought about
by this conversion is that members will have a new user ID
and password for accessing portions of the AIHA website.
Currently, visitors who attempt to access restricted content on www.aiha.org are prompted to enter a user ID
(their AIHA member number) and a password (their last
name). Following the switch to the new AMS, members
will need to enter their e-mail address in the “user ID”
field and their AIHA member number in the “password”
field.
If AIHA does not have your current e-mail address on
file, please visit www.aiha.org to update your member
profile. Members who have questions should not hesitate
to contact AIHA Member Services at (703) 849-8888 or
infonet@aiha.org.
