AIHA LAP, LLC Accepted as ILAC
Associate Member
In October, AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC was accepted as an
associate member of the International
Laboratory Accreditation Council (ILAC).
ILAC membership allows the LLC to
build its international standing and
knowledge base and is an important step
toward international recognition.
AIHA LAP, LLC will be represented at
the ILAC meeting in Vancouver, Canada,
this fall to reinforce its interest in becom-
ing part of the ILAC Mutual Recognition
Agreement (MRA). To attain international
recognition, AIHA LAP, LLC must be ap-
proved as an MRA signatory by ILAC or
an ILAC regional body (such as APLAC
or IAAC).
