The Continuing Education Committee
(CEC) is now accepting self-nominations
for membership. The mission of the CEC
is to ensure that AIHA® provides the
highest quality professional development
programs and educational opportunities
that broaden knowledge, enhance technical competencies, yet also provide
practical tools and skills.
The committee plays an integral role
in the selection process for traditional
professional development courses (PDCs)
and distance learning offerings. As part
of an ongoing commitment to quality,
the CEC evaluates courses on a continual
basis.
The CEC comprises 12 members, appointed for five one-year terms. All members are required to attend/participate in
three meetings annually. Failure to participate will lead to removal from the committee, so AIHA members should ensure
that they can participate before self-nom-inating. The required meetings are:
