The Edge eg5 is a lightweight, cable-free noise dosimeter, engineered for the
rigors of today’s workplace. Its compact design mounts on the shoulder and
weighs just 3 ounces! A rechargeable lithium battery provides up to 40 hours
of battery life.
This innovative dosimeter is designed to simultaneously
measure against multiple industry standards. When used
with new 3M™ Data Management Software DMS, users can
activate a total of three independent dosimeters.
DMS also makes it easy to report and export data,
perform advanced calculations and generate
powerful reports.
With its MSHA, SIRA (ATEX), CSA (US and
Canada) and Simtars (IECEx) Intrinsic Safety
Approvals, The Edge eg5 noise dosimeter can be
used in potentially hazardous environments such as
mines, petrochemical sites, and manufacturing facilities.
